I've got an annoying problem, i've got a 2002 Peugot 206GTI and there's some sort of box underneath the steering column which keeps dropping down a little making for virtually no room to get my feet in to control the pedals. I keep putting it back up and it seems to clip into place or something. But then it drops down again.

Anyone know what this box might be and how to stop it dropping down?

As said a picture would be helpful but if it looks as though it should be clipped in somewhere up there and you cant see or cant be bothered to find where, why not just bust the zip ties out (long as its not heavy)

Sorry about not uploading a photo, I forgot. I might try and drill a small hole into the edge of it and put a cable tie on it.

How big is this box? What colour is it? How many wires are attached to it? Are there any stickers/markings on the box?

So much more information that could have been given to get a decent response.

It's ok, I got right underneath the steering column and had a look, then I unscrewed the front panel right underneath the steering column and found the box to be a fuse box. It just needed clipping back in place which I did, problem sorted. Thsnk god, lol.
