Head gasket leak getting worse using too much oil now! Thought it was time to get it done and while the engine was dismantled, get the other niggles issues sorted.

Yea got one! smashed the passenger wing mirror to bits yesterday backing the car in! So tired and not concentrating! Looking for replacements now. Will probably go for gloss black 180 if I can find them. Got the money at the mo so not an issue there. Just an extra hassle. Sort of...

With regards the above I drop the car off Monday night and get it back Friday morning. No more oil leak and beeping with oil light flashing hoped for Smile

Sorry to hear about the mirror, but it's replaceable ,so no problem, the GTi180 are cool, but expensive and very rare lately,so good luck to find a set for the right price.

Glad that the car will back to be in good shape,as oil leaks is no fun :(,i will check your build thread to see if you updated it Smile
