Hey,
so I'm new here, my name's Ali and I have a 1999 Peugeot 206 1.1L
Along with a few 'first car problems' my driver and passenger side doors swing out to 90 degrees. There's no middle stopping point like in most cars and the passenger side door actually hits the front fender.
So my question is why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Thanks for any help

Will be the check strap in the door that's faulty. Think they are around £20 new. Careful you don't let it swing and crease the door!

As above your check strap has gone, You should hear your door clicking when you open it.
Easily job for anyone who knows what there doing.

Yeah thanks for the crease warning but its a little too late. a few weeks after I bought it my mum let the wind swing the door open. now there's a white line down a section of the door haha.
And thanks, will do
