Hi all my 1.4 LX petrol. Is it standard? particularly the:
-alloys
-fog lights
-spoiler

Anything I need to declare to the insurance...im not sure if the alloys/foglights are an original "optional extra"

Andrew

I doubt those alloys & spoiler where factory fitted.

The front fogs where pretty much standard for an LX.

You could always stick the VIN in to Peugeot Service Box & pull up the build spec of your car - you would need to sign up for a account but that is FREE.

OR you could pm me or another forum member with service box access the VIN & have a look / post up for you.

mate although your supposed to declare everything there is a little bit of leeway as long as you dont have 18" gold alloys and a 3 foot spoiler you'll be fine

the most important to declare is any performance mods but you will get away with a k&n or a backbox

So far the alloys, painted brake calliper's, spoiler & sticker on the door already stand out as non standard.

If it didn't have them when it rolled out the factory OR there not on the original sale's invoice from the original supplying Peugeot dealer then YES.

Remember it's a Peugeot, anyone with the VIN number can look up the exact spec it rolled out the factory with in a couple of minutes just by looking on Peugeot Service Box Wink
