Hi Drewden. No luck with the BSI reset. Tried it a few times as suggested but no luck.

Think I might have to find a car spark to do what you had done to yours. I live in Bristol so Yorkshire is a bit far away.

Or not bother and just drive during daylight hours!

No probs, obviously you will need to fix it before MOT time, will you kindly report back please what the fix was, just interested to know, also it will help other people.

Hi all,

Connected a length of wire from the working rear side light and connected it to the non working side and it worked a treat! All side lights and number plate lights are now working. Took around 30 minutes and most of that was trying to find the right wires to connect to as they are slightly different both sides.

Hope this helps someone else.

So it would appears the fault lies 'upstream' from where you patched into (where did you?) that circuit.

I used a 12v circuit tester to locate the side light feed from the working side and connected it to the opposite side. Worked perfectly.
