For those who are unaware I've got one of the lowest 206's about, bump stops front and back...
well, she met her match..
took out my sump...oh, and the subframe.. Took the wheel out of alignment too so need to look into what's happened there too.
not a pretty sight.

Speed bumps have no mercy... It wasn't even a big one just went over at an awkward angle and went a bit harder than the typical sill slamming that I'm used too. The tow hook worked wonders and surprisingly the brakes were good enough to stop 2 tonne worth of x5 on the way home.

Which is very much a minority in the rest of the world - for obvious reasons.

Any Peugeot / Citroen main dealer parts department will sell you a new sump.

Do you mean a non sport bumper? I don't like the garishly large grill insert for the sport models.

To all the people who slated this car I am that small minority that actually liked this car. Mainly because it shows what determination mixed with a little bit of a unique touch can actually give from a 1.1 (i know its had an engine conversion too) I have a 1.1 in silver and I wish I could have done most of the modifications to my car. However thats a different story
Always said it. My favorite car on this forum

Well it was bound to happen. I feel sorry for you but every road must be a chore... So, the question is are you going to raise it once it's hit the pocket or are you going to continue going through sumps?
I personally can't see why people go silly slow, but many people can't see why I drive a 'girls' car.
PS. Are you in need of new front tyres or is it my screen?

Cheers, buddy. Very much appreciate it. The car is being repaired sunday and will continue being low! just going to be a bit more careful. If you ever need any help I'm always there for you, Pal.

Cars staying low. It's getting modified bumpers and sideskirts soon (just smoothed to look standard) to make the car look lower to the ground as sills sticking out are silly. The job on at the moment isn't the best in all honesty so giving it another blast.
Yes, tyres are shot. Replacing once the car moves, lol.

Do you know them 3 piece speed bumps? like 3 minor onces across the road? went over one of them (well, tried to go over 2) but caught my sump as I went down.. Was doing about 2mph at the time:\ subframe went with it!
