I would like to know if anyone has done the auxiliary input mod on the factory Clarion head unit.
Either buying the cable or wiring it themselves.
This would provide a 3.5mm stereo plug to plug the mp3 player or smart phone into.
I'd like to know how to do it and or which cable works with our head units in Australia and where to get it.
My car is a 2006 model GTi 180, so multiplexed.
Thanks in advance.

I've heard people talk about www.connects2.co.uk as they seem to have plug n play cables that can also work with the steering controls...
Might be worth a look maybe?

I have this done to my GTi 180, with the factory Clarion 2859 A (C) headunit, plug a ipad or iphone 4 series in and some RDIO streaming works a treat.
