Even to get over 90lb ft per litre is doing extremely well so 110lb ft per litre...you'd need a miracle!

Bit of an update on engine progress.

So far the crank is finished, fully knife edged and a load of weight gone.
Billet steel flywheel purchased from Pug1off
Billet alloy crank pulley from Pug1off
Custom Cams from Piper with an approx 288 profile made for us by the man himself
Cylinder head further modified with 2mm bigger inlet and exhaust valves. The biggest issue here is the cams have too bigger lift for the springs. The solution is to fit custom springs and machine the spring seats to fit. The decision to fit hydraulic lifters has been suggested by Piper themselves as there may be issues with fitting solids.
Dummy build was being done last week to see if the pockets were big enough in the pistons.

Next step is to do the machining and final build, set up the cams and refit the engine in the car if everything fits. Weld up the engine mounting points and send it off to the rolling road....... all before FCS Surprised
