hello anyone know why my revs stick when harsh accelerating , i have a 2004 gti 180 i have cleaned the throttle boddie out n moved the mat ? cheers

Not sure if it will be cable or electronic throttle.
If cable, possibly the cable is sticking in the outer sleeve or the spring on the throttle body is weak.
If electronic, could be the sensor on the pedal or the motor on the throttle body playing up.

It will be electronic fly by wire throttle set up as it's a GTI 180 which has ESP fitted.

try resting the throttle body,if it works then you will save pounds,if not,then a new throttle body needed.
