Hi,
I have a job to sort out on a 206 with drum brakes. To save a long story I have a pile of pieces both new and old from someone stripping it all down.

I would really like some photos of what it should look like so I can put it all back together. Also how does the abs work on this system?

Thanks

I've got this one. It's from a 1.4 non ABS with Bosch brake system

Think with ABS the sensor comes through the back plate and the drum has the teeth cut into it around the hub area

Cheers Macca, do you have a close up shot of the top left corner for the auto adjuster set up?

Drewden, I can't get in on that site.

Can anyone else help?

Thanks for the help so far guys. Smile

A new problem now though. The ABS works on a magnetic slip ring that fits on to the centre boss of the brake drum/hub assembly. These have got damaged on the original items removed and they are not on the new drum/hub assembly (pattern part).

Peugeot couldn't come up with a part for this magnetic ring on a 206, it is only shown as a complete item drum/hub. I have looked on Service box (thanks to Drewden) and can't find it either. The 207 part number comes up as 4549 19 "Anti lock wheel radial target".

Does anyone know if this fits on a 206 or can someone give me the correct part number????

Think you can only buy them as part of the drum. Try ECP as they have always got some sort of promotional discount going.
