Hi guys,
How do I identify my temperature sensor?
I know I need a new one, but I don't know which one I need. I was planning to go to the Breakers yard and see if that fixes the problem. (I'm selling the car as soon as the few problems are fixed)
I also need to know if it matters hugely on what coil packs I put in? Would you advise brand new or could I go to the breakers yard as well?
Cheers,
Jord

Coolant sensor is usually green. Your car might have two sensors one might be a different colour.

1.4 8V or 1.4 16V. With or without aircon.
PS: the Haynes manual isn't perfect for these cars but does explain which sensors are on which cars. While not cheap a Haynes manual is a good investment if you DIY.
