Hi everyone can I just pick your brains. Got a 206 140 02 reg right what's happened is my button to open doors had fell threw so I got another key off eBay it only came with shell n a blade so I put my chip in my motherboard and my key in but the problem is on the mother board the close button has a little nipple on it but the one off the open has gone so the open button still does not work is the mother board connected to ignition, Central locking or ecu or is that just the key and chip so my question is ? Can I buy a key off eBay with mother board in and will it work any answers much appreciated cheers fellas

I think I counted three bits of punctuation in that huge sentence.

After hurting my eyes reading that, No, you can't just buy another board from ebay and use it. It will need pairing using PP2000.

PS there are about 5 different boards for a multi-plex.

Just get the button replaced on the pcb, either do it yourself OR send the key of & have a professional replace it.

What He Said ...you will find a repair kit on Ebay.better than buying a new key.

Edward I was asking I about a key not to sit there n count my punctuation marks cheers.
I was in work and had to wright it quick it's just like a text
Do u use punctuation In texts.!!!!
And macca if your eyes hurt reading that I suggest a trip to spec savers .lol

I did replace the button on the case. But did not know the little bit inside was broke aswell so how's all what I did crap u mong.
