Could possibly be your rear crank seal, has your clutch been slipping? Have you had anyone to look at it yet?

Is the oil on your dipstick the same colour? If your dipstick oil is darker then what is leaking is probably gearbox oil.

My friends just bought a 2005 1.1 206 and it appears to have this oil leak, it's defo engine oil rather than gearbox oil. Rear crank seal you think?

Degrease / clean the leaked oil of the engine so you get a clue as to where the leak is coming from.
If your using a pressure washer DON'T aim it at any of the electrics & also make sure the engine is stone COLD.
Oil leaks can be hard to find unless you see actually the leak in action, I normally find starting with it clean helps pinpoint the leak.

I had this happen on my HDI.
It hadn't gotten to the stage of dripping but thankfully found it when changing my clutch and DMF.
Unfortunately the box has to come off, but when it's off you might want to clean the back of the flywheel as there WILL be oil on this.
Mine was covered in it, perhaps one of the many reasons it was fubar.
It's very easy to change the rear main seal, unfortunately I wasn't expecting this to be here, so a very quick 120 mile round trip and £22 later it was all fixed!
