Just a general thread for you to tell me how much you enjoy driving your 206's... I've personally only just started to enjoy the drive of mine after 6 months ownership, I had lots of issues when I first bought mine which led to repair costs of £2300... So after all the hassle and money, I've grown to like it.

Granted they're not the most fun cars in the world to drive but my God mines quick!
It's unfortunate that the running cost of a 206 GTI is too much for me so it might be time to say goodbye to my orange pug (which I've now named Penny)

As an all rounder you can't fault a gti. It will give most cars a good run providing you drive it properly. Personally I feel no reason to get a newer car when £1000 worth of gti puts a smile on my face and shocks a lot of "oh look it's a peugeot" sceptics.

Slightly strange driving position, steering lack feel and the suspension as standard is soggy. Lots of potential though...if you change everything!
It's a small light car which make a nice change after bigger and heavier cars.

Yeah I've had alot of "Oh look, a 206, hah..WHAAA!?"

Numpty decided it'll be fun to pull along side me in a 1.4 golf and cut me off from merging onto a slip road... Tried to pull away and was gonna cut me off and inevitably push me into the hard shoulder or brake hard... There was a car right behind me so braking was out of the picture and unfortunately a broken down car about 400yrds in front of me in the hard shoulder... So, I dropped to 4th and put my foot down a little and the shock on their face as I pulled away was priceless!
