Hi

Been quoted £200 labour to change gti clutch. Is that OK? Never had a clutch done on any car before!

Cheers

Where is it you pay £35 an hour.

All the garages round where I live are £50 upwards.

The garage I work at (Small independent) charges £65 + Vat an hour lol

I paid £160 about 5 years ago so £200 isn't too bad.

Had my clutch done a few months ago on my hdi. Was £180 from my local. I went to peugeot just for a laugh and they quoted 900+! Said no thanks, on my way out they were trying to sell me 208, I couldn't even afford a clutch for my car let alone a buying a new car..
