Iv only had this car 1 month. Was stopped at traffic lights & it cut out when I tried pulling off. Took 2 mechanic who put it on a diagnostics machine & coil pack came up so had that changed but it was still cutting out. Took 2 different garage & was told egr valve needed doin so has that done! Car was driving lot better but when waiting in traffic or leaving running 4 while it seems 2 go as if it's gonna stall & it cut out on hubby the other day. Seems ok if only doin short journeys but engine gage does get higher & higher the longer the car is running. I'm really fed up of it now & just need it sorting any ideas what it could be????

Petrol? Diesel? What engine does it have?

Need a bit more information tbh. If it's a petrol it could be the idle control valve, although it could be a variety of different things. I'd take it to a mechanic who will actually look over the car rather than just plugging it into a diagnostic machine.

If it only cuts out when no throttle is applied then I'd first look at cleaning the idle control valve.
