Hi guys, haven't been on here in a while hope you're all well. Anyway, I've made a bit of a problem for myself. My front bumper is all cracked and horrible so got a new one. Was hoping to put it on tomorrow but here's the issue. I've a badgeless grill in place of the colour coded plastic lion middle part (between headlights). I had to tigerseal it into place as all clips had snapped off along with part of the inside meaning I couldn't replace the clips (the original lion grill was all cracked so I had to change it). Anyway, can I remove the front bumper including the moulding without removing the badgeless grill and if so, how?

When you say lion grill are you referring to the plastic trim piece that's held down at the top by the mushroom clips, that sits behind the actual badge? or the actual badge-less grill piece itself that runs all the way along the front under both headlights and above the plastic bump strip?
If the latter then no. There are x2 T30's located under the headlights holding it in place, in fact I think there is another below the badge. even removing the headlight to access these requires removal of the badge-less grill to reach a bolt securing the headlamps in place.
Hot water and some bug and tar remover accompanied by a sharp blade will remove the TS, patients is key, have fun with that though!!
If the former then you will be fine, just loosen the torx screw holding the center section in place, remove the torx screws at either side where the badge-less grill meets the headlights and un-clip from either edge and remove as one whole piece instead of splitting in to two like you normally would. A flexible extension might come in handy if you cant flex the plastic enough to reach the screws.

The simple way to fix this,is get a new grill from scrappy, and new clips from dealer, and an hour job,and you are done :D,as taking the front bumper without taking the grill is not possible.
