Hey guys, noticed that my engine oil is going completely after a few months of driving, it's happened twice in the 8 months I've owned the car..
There hasn't been any oil spills or noticeable leaks on the ground, just wondering where the more common places for there to be an engine leak are? Just so I know where to check first
Thanks in advance

If there are no signs of oil on the ground when you park, then the most likely thing is the oil is being burnt.
Any excessive smoking coming from the exhaust when you first start it or when you give it some right foot?

1 litre of oil per 600 miles is the set fiqure

No smoke on start up or when I put my foot down Macca... Rocker cover is loose, 3 of the plastic clips are holding it down, the others are missing, I've taken it off though and there's no oil leak underneath it

can you see any oil around the bottom of the gearbox where it bolts to the engine?
could be leaking from the crank seal behind the flywheel.

As above I would be checking the seals just had to do cam & both crank seals on the Mrs pluriel the oil was pooling on the subframe so wasn't really leaving oil spats on the drive easy to check get under it with a torch

As Macca. 8 month and two significant refills with no visible dripping then that is NOT a leak but oil being burnt.
Worth a compression test.
