Hey guys,
My clutch is making a whistling/squealing sound when I change gear.
I'm guessing I need a new clutch.
How much are they from a Main Dealer? How much from Kwik-Fit?
Cheers,
Jord

That is Ridiculous!

Wish me luck!

Beig a TU expect about £60 to £70 for all the parts including oil and driveshaft seals (always replace when your there)
If it is a TU like I expect it to be, they are p**s easy to do, 3 hours for no experience and an hour for experienced

look at the center of the pressure plate,
not seen one that bad for a while, and that had come out of an old 405 taxi.

I saw one worse from a 308 1.2 THP that had done 168 miles....
Bloody thing got so hot, the friction plate melted itself to the flywheel!

not good .I've had a couple of friction plates shatter on an old rover 420 gsi touring I used to own,
bloody thing was mad, 78 mph in 2nd gear, just the thing for slaying saxo's at the lights.
