Forgive me if this is a stupid question but could i use a 30amp relay as the replacement for the 25amp relay used for the low fan cooling?
would the 5 amp difference be safe.
Main reason is i can get a 30amp relay straight away but am having trouble finding a 25amp one locally.
I know i could go to the dealer but how much would they charge for a relay?

Phone a dealer, they can't be that much. You never know it might actually be cheaper than the motor factors!

Should be fine to use a 30amp relay. It's all fused anyway.

Cheers mate ill get 1 tomorrow and fit over the weekend.
I got error code P0485 come up, i know the high Fan works but i dont think the low fan is so guessing itll be either the relay or resistor.

The current rating on the relay tells how much current the switching contacts can handle, so it's OK to use a higher rated relay. The opposite is not true.

Morning,
I bought a relay from the dealer last year and it was £4 iirc. Ordered friday, arrived Saturday ready to pick up.
The low speed resistor was quite expensive though!
As Edward said, cause it's fused it'll be fine to use the 30amp relay.
Regsrds, Richard.
