I bought these and started installed them earlier www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alu...3a9f3f7067
I started with the fan control one i put that on and realized it didn't click when i turned it but it still worked then i realized a spring and a little black thing down by the ash tray didn't take much to realize my mistake so i proceeded to take of the knob i just put on and it was solid i eventually took to force and got it off. Well i didn't get the knob out but i managed to pull it out to where what it was connected to hanging out and now it doesn't work even when i pushed it back in. Any idea on what I've done? Will i need to buy a full new unit? Any help is massively appreciated

Any pics?
Sounds like you may need a new control panel ... the controls are normally soldered on to circuit boards now

will get some. I went to the scrappy and found a 206 with one but he said i would need to remove it myself. I know there's guides on here somewhere but what do i do with the wires at the back that is connected to the resurcilation and the dial that controls where the air i coming from? Do they somehow pull out? The guy said they need to be cut but i fail to believe him
