Hi guys,
Just wondering if the 2.0 206 cc gearbox would fit a 2.0 206 gti.
I'm after a new gearbox and found a cc breaking close to me.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply.
So it would have the linkages, not a cable like the gti 180.
Hope that makes sense I've only had my car a week and only really know what I've read today.
(I have the 140)
Thanks for your help.

I keep reading about hydraulic clutches etc.
Will everything be the same on a cc as my gti 138?
I've been offered the box and sorted a price, just want to double check before I buy.
Thanks, Jon.

Yes, everything is the same between the GTi and the CC. Both run BE4 gearbox's, both have gear linkage rods not cables, both run hydraulic clutch set ups.

Thanks for the help!
I'm a bit confused now, as it asked the same question on a 206cc forum and someone said in 2002 they swapped between using a cable and hydraulic. If that makes sense?
