Hi there, first post! Got some phase 2 tail lights to put on my phase 1. But they ain't got bulb holders. Do phase 1 lights have the same bulb holder as phase 2. Cheers!

You know, I can't remember ...
I do know that the n/s one has the wiring socket in a slightly different place, so I had to release the loom from a tie-wrap to get it to stretch on the hatchback. I've fitted phase 2's to a 2002 hatch and a 2001 CC .. but both had bulb holders with the lights.

You say you have the PH2 lights already so just check to see if they're the same. Will take you all of 5 mins to have both lights out and new ones in, there just plug and play

That makes sense then.
Well below are two pictures of the back of the ph2 lights and connecting block that mounts to the back of the light. Hopefully you can cross reference your current ph1's to my old ph2's.
