The brown one might be something to do with the bonnet catch/alarm. I have that brown connector on my HDi but it isn't connected to anything.
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Get a new friend to work on your car!!

For future reference if you are taking wires off anywhere take pics on your phone and also wrap in masking tape then write where the wire goes!

Saves so much hassle, Most of the plugs should only fit into 1 type of socket, round peg square hole.

Hope you get it sorted.

Another friend has a 206 so going to look at hers on Friday to find out where the last 2 wires go.

Off to the scrapyard today so will find out what the wires are.

I noticed the horn also didnt work so put a test meter on the white plug and pressed the horn. To my great surprise it lit up so I now know the white plug is the horn connector.

The other wire goes the bonnet catch as said before.

Its for the alarm and MFD.

Now when the bonnet isn't shut 100% it shows on the MFD and if I set the alarm it now goes off when the bonnet is opened.
