Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have recently purchased a 206 1.4 (06 plate) ... it runs well however every so often when I am slowing down and dropping gears whilst approaching traffic lights, junctions or turns etc. the engine just cuts off. It fires straight back up when I turn the key whilst moving and carries on as normal. There is no consistancy or pattern it can run fine for 2 days then do it 3 times in one journey. I have had it plugged in twice by reputable autoelectricians and no errors are showing ... has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be. Thanks in advance.

An 06 plate doesn't have traction control does it? ESP?

ESP would be a rare find on a 1.4 but I have seen it a couple of times over the years when the original owner ticked the option box when ordering the car.
