After selling the auris the other week I've been bumbling around in my dads 1.4 tdci fiesta for the time being but took a trip up to sunny scunny today to view a car that popped up for sale on auto trader a couple of days ago....

It's on an 06, but has only done 62,000 miles and got it for the same price as my Rallye! A win all around really.
Also it's the 1.4 Hdi, so £30 road tax and 60mpg Smile

It's not all roses though. The rear beam camber is quite back so I'll be eBaying for a 2nd hand beam shortly, it's needs the oem stereo binning, the rear wiper doesn't work (stalk issue I guess) and it needs a service and some tyres in 2000 miles or so. But pleased so far. Also temp gauge on the main central display seems wildly wrong? Haven't heard of that as an issue before could anyone shed some light on it?

Looks like it should be a good running motor.

If you mean the temp gauge is way out on the temperature then it might need a new sensor which is located in the wing mirror and these can come from Peugeot.

I have Peugeot Planet/DiagBox.

So known immediate issues are:

1). Some numb nut has fixed the indicator issue by replacing it with a Coms unit from a CC, so I can't activate my rear wiper.
2). External mirror sensor thinks it's 25 degrees at all times
3). Injector leak
4). 3x Balding tyres

So jobs list:
Buy a Roof Box & Bars done
Fit temporary stereo from 2004 done
Buy new Kenwood BT/DAB Unit & Fit
Fix External Temp Gauge In the process of
Get injector leak fixed Next Friday
Replace tyres Got another 1000 miles left in them so booked in to gets three new Avon midrange jobbies on 22nd April
Buy touch up pen and touch up bits here and there
Buy replacement comms units and fit so my rear wiper works
Buy cruise control stalk and try it! Process of
Tunit Eco Remap

Roof box and bars were a steal from gumtree £50 all in. Box has a few war wounds but it's a Thule for a 1/4 of the price of the equivalent halfords own and came with roof bats so can't be happier really. Will suit to haul about all the dogs toot and for our camping stuff

I do have a cruise control stalk if you are needing one its the one that fits on the left side of the wheel and looks like the stereo control but on the other side Obviously.

Fitted the parrot. Very pleased, got the controls on a strap on the steering wheel doesn't look the best but it does the job and is comfortable to use.

Also finally got my tyres fitted. Please with the handling tbh for the bottom end of mid-range they're ok.

Next up is a new battery. Found eurocarbatteries.co.uk carries a 206 battery for only £59.99, £15 cheaper than anywhere else!! So will be ordering that shortly.
