Hello,

New to the forums and just bought a W reg 2.0 HDi

The lights for the heater controls, cig lighter, handbrake and odometer don't work and the courtesy light doesn't come on when I open either door, but does work manually and when I turn the car off.

I have Google'd it but can't make any sense of the fuse box. I understand it is a pre-plexed car...

Is it a fuse? If so, which one(s)? Or is it just bulbs? If it's bulbs, what sort do I need?

Many thanks

Doesnt sound like its bulbs mate as the courtesy light and dash illumination would run independantly.

when you switch your lights on and have realised your cigarette lighter, handbrake and heater controls arent working what does your speedo do, is this illuminated or not?
Also have you looked at the lights outside the car, are the headlights on as well as the sidelights?

Speedo, revcounter etc all work fine, and light up.

Passenger sidelight isn't on, but drivers side is.

The actual heater controls and cig lighter do work, they just don't light up.

Have you checked for a blown fuse?
