the other day i had to violently steer to the left, I never looked at the speedo the rest of the journey so i don't know if that was what broke it. when i came back out and started driving i noticed the speedo wasn't working so i switched it off and back on while moving and it started to work again normally for 5 minutes then it froze at 50. then as that continued and eventually when i stopped the speedo dropped to 20 and when up as i accelerated so it was showing me 20 mph faster then that repeated and got stuck at 80 and went from there so it went to it went as far as it could go and hasn't moved since. I haven't checked if its still recording miles will check that soon enough.

For the past few weeks my cars handbrake light was stuck on i just assumed the sensor at the handbrake was playing up because it had been stuck on since the car got a new axle and they put a new handbrake cable on it but when i was driving and switched the engine on and off it would go of for around 10-15 minutes then come back on any ideas? Brake fluid is fine

Would like to apoligise for the grammar im on my phone and it keeps repeating words for some reason

Still records miles but now the display has stopped working so I'm just going to assume that the clocks are buggered as the rev counter doesn't work nor has it ever worked

Check your abs rings for cracks. That's where the speedo gets it's reading.

When you turned did you hit anything?

Didn't hit anything but it felt like there was no power steering but that was fine afterwards

I'd say speedo faulty as well. Probably same fault for the handbrake.
