It's so nice to hear 200bhp in action. Was expecting it to be a little more pop and bang though!

I will be gutted if it has less . I easy pull on a standard 180 as Mateys was before he stacked it .

I thought that the 180's where not actually 180bhp I am sure I read a lot of people had there 180's on the dyno and they only received around 163 -172bhp?

What have you done to it so far?

1999 206 Gt... Gti180 inlet, Gti180 exhaust manifold, Gti180 injectors, Gti-6 throttle body, Custom Adapter pipe to mate the throttle body to intake, Gti180 alternator, Gti-6 ICV, Straight through stainless exhaust system, cat cams (apparently), Avo coilovers, short shift gear stick, stripped out with fixed back bucket seat and harness, flocked dash, momo steering wheel and D2 solid boss, real carbon cold air intake, Gti-6 front calipers and 288mm disks, rear drilled and grooved disks, morette headlights, sp bonnet grill 71,456 miles

The only ones that are anywhere close to 180 are the ex-demo cars, I think.
Most of which don't excist anymore and if they do most owners are blissfully unaware. (Side note: is there a way to find out??)
I believe someone from here has one, I want to say danlouie does but I maybe wrong. Most UK spec 180's are 163-172 give or take a few bhp.

Second note: Project I bet your 180 doesn't even get anywhere near 200 with what you've done so far. Even a cammed up 180 barely scrapes 200 with decat, exhaust and induction kit / panel filter of your choice.
Take it to a reputable dyno not Joe Blogs from down the way who marks up to please customers.

I would say that even the demo cars are not 180 or even relativley close to that, if they where then Peugeot would have a law suit on there hands. You can't just uprate demo models and say each car will be to this standard and then send out cars with 163bhp.. False advertising and possibly even fraudulent.

It doesn't state what he has done to his car just states what a 180 with such and such would receive.

Personally I'm not sure if I believe it to be true or not, but I'm sure it wouldn't be the first case of dealers using better spec demo cars. Was always some suspicion in JDM cars being used in UK showrooms for test drives, still advertised the specs of UK models, just test drove the better spec JDM versions.
