Took the GTi in today for it's MOT, been sat off the road on SORN since it expired in March, Passed with no advisories

Wasn't a suprise, I spent a few hours with it up on axle stands at the weekend checking everything over and fitting the few things i knew it needed.

Put the CC through today .. pass too!
Need to get new front brake hoses as they are starting to show signs of cracks and get the read hi-brake light working again (think its a broken cable in the hinge mechanism), and a small steering pipe weep at some stage.
I didn't get a chance to give it the usual once over but it has only done about 3,200 miles since last year ...
