Thought I may as well start a build thread so...

Picked this up for the tidy sum of 150 quid, 90k plenty of history taxed and tested requires a little tlc but nothing I can't handle
Plans at the minute are to just get it tidied up before Christmas and lose a few things not to my taste overall it's in good nick and should fit the budget scheme perfectly

Think I did well to get 200 quid knocked off the asking price lol

Rear axle will be getting stripped the weekend to change the bearings providing the weather plays ball that is!
will also attempt to fix the stuck heaters then come pay day I'll see about getting the belts, head gasket and a bloody good service out the way ready for the more fun items to start arriving

Forgot I had even started a thread here, got a few jobs done on this lately, dodgy heaters sorted with a new resistor unit, fitted a new drivers mirror, gave it a good service although it has developed a occasional misfire where it drops onto three cylinders but if I restart it it runs perfectly so this is guna need some investigating.
Also found a lovely gift in the glovebox in the form of a completely bastardised locking wheel key so gotta try a few things to get them cracked off so I can fit suspension bits and brakes
Will stick some pictures up once I've done this and given it a clean

Well got this on the road few teething problems with the throttle cable clip making a run for it, indicators were playing up so I stripped the unit down cleaned all the swarf out and problem solved. Also fitted a new battery and a new headunit and fitted a sportex rear box that cost me all of 99p on ebay so here's a couple of pics hopefully start buying some more fun parts now she's all sorted.

So in keeping with the budget theme so far this car owes me around the 600 quid mark and that's with a full front suspension refresh, new brakes all round, full thorough service, 2 rainsport 3's, mot and tracking and various other small parts including buying the car.
For me the next move is to get some better dampers and I'll leave it alone for a while then until we get settled with our little boy who's due in July hopefully next year it will see some time on track
