Having celebrated my success of having a perfect idle, I took my car out for a spin yesterday and it stalled twice Sad

Same symptoms as before - when the revs drop down quickly it can't seem to recover quick enough to stop itself stalling.

I am reckoning Lambda sensor is the next thing to test.

Been there, done that, replaced a knock sensor and it didnt help with my idle issues, my issue ended up being a dodgy engine mount replaced it and everything has been fine since.

well on my particular car, both engine mounts. When my mechanic did my cambelt, he noticed the top engine mount was split right through so that got replaced, made the car a bit smoother but there was still an issue. As well as the bad idle i noticed when putting the car into reverse o clunking noise and there was also an intermittent starting issue. Replaced the lower engine mount (torque bush) and the issue went away, car ran a lot smoother.
