Hello
I have just bought a 206 and looks like someone has put some some 2 part resin around the power steering pipe and it still leaks now- drip.
Is on the pipe that comes out of the power steering bottle and goes down and round back up then across engine.
Leak is on the metal but of pipe.
Anyone know what size pipe it is?

Tried to find other end of pipe but disappears to under engine and I don't know what's on other end , compression joint?

What's best way to fix
Car on ramps and replace whole pipe
Cut and join with jubilee clip/ hose - although it's high pressure ?
Or can I use a compression coupler if I know what size pipe it is

Any help appreciated

I bought an adaptor that screws into the pump and a hose with -6 JIC CRIMPED ends will screw onto the adaptor was made for £20 from the local hydraulic shop. It has a compression fitting on the other end to attach to the remains of the metal pipe under the sump.

Check out the last few pages of my project topic to see what I'm on about. The pump is different but the fittings are the same.
