i have a 2001 1.4 8 valve 206 and am trying to remove and replace the spark plugs, I have a 16mm spark plug socket and a ball/knuckle joint attachment for the socket as well as two different lengths of extension bars but I am still unable to get the socket into the spark plugs as the throttle body is in the way. Any suggestions would be very helpful, thank you.

Some of the plugs can be a nightmare due to clearance issues with other parts near their holes in the engine block. I resorted to using the socket with an extension bar, and using an adjustable wrench on the square drive part of the extension bar in order to turn them. It's just a case of making the best you can from what tools you have lying around. Good luck.
