Had an attempt at putting my gti calipers on my 2.0 HDI the bolts from the diesel ones are to big. Already checked the closest scrappy they didn't have any. Would i be able to get these from halfords? if i can find out the exact size of the bolts?

Peugeot didn't have them in stock, so went back to the breakers they came from and found the exact car they came from. bolts where still in the car but they where actually the exact the same size so why on mine when does the bolts stick out a good 2cm when they're tightened right up? Thread on the bolts are okay and they diesel calipers go on perfectly fine so im confused, Does anyone have any ideas on whats going on?

Hubs are different so must be the problem.
