Perfect instructions and illustrations for a guy like me who only did metal work at school.

Armed with a hobby vice, hacksaw and set of files it took around 2 hours to make and fine tune to perfect operation.

Now booked in for MOT at the end of the week!

I've tried with no success to get one of these sliders as everyone I've tried will only sell with the complete runners. Might try making one myself. In the meantime I discovered that without the slider in place you can still manually lock the seat into position by removing the plastic trim from the side of the seat, then you can see the top hat & spring assembly (as shown in the pic on previous page). You then place the seat in the correct position that you want it on the runners then manually press down on the lever by the spring and it will lock the seat into position.
