Hi my morrettes headlight bulb keeps blowing one side at a time about 2-3 weeks after installation, I bought the bulbs off eBay could it be dodgy bulbs or is it likely something more sinister?
Thanks
Luke

Brand name bulbs or nonames? China specials?
Just to be sure , I'd stick a voltmeter across the battery terminals and rev the engine to about 2000 rpm and check the voltage given by the alternator/regulator - could be overdoing it. 13,8 to 14,4 is the target.

There also is a current spike when turning the engine on, and especially off (like a whiplash), is what used to keep blowing C1's bulbs, until a surge leveller was soldered in place
