Hi,
i Recently bought a 1.4 Hdi which had peugeot alloy wheels fitted, not sure if they were from new or not but the previous owner didnt have the key to remove the locking nuts on each wheel.
Is there anywhere i could purchase the proper key to remove them or to i have to resort to hammering on an old socket or something and using brute force to get them off? (really dont want to do that and damage the wheels themselves)
Car is due its MOT so really need to get them off ASAP
Heres a couples of pics of the locking nuts

Thanks in advance for any help
Terry

There McGards, get in touch with McGard & they might be able to make a replacement key from a picture.

You don't need to remove the wheels for an MOT unless a the brakes need replacing or a tyre
However you`ll be in the sh*t if you get a puncture
Have you looked in the more obvious places for the `key`
Glovebox
Door pockets
Ashtray
Boot
With the spare wheel
With the Jack and brace
The other way to do it is to weld an old nut onto each lock, then undo the nut.

Afraid the car needs a bit of work on the front end for its MOT so yeh i need the wheels off.
I have search the car upside down for the key, glovebox, boot, under boot carpet, with spare wheel, under seats, door pockets even under the bonnet lol you name it i have looked there
And can weld two bits of metal together but not confident enough to try welding that close to alloy wheels incase i damage them

Thanks MrBSI,i had a look at Mcgards website and narrowed it down to being these bolts for a peugeot
mcgards
but looking at the pics the mcgards bolts have 5 points in there pattern where as the bolts on my car seem to have 6
On another forum a few guys have suggested that these are not original locking nuts and suggested maybe going down the road of buying a removal tool from the likes of halfords such as this one
Halfords
will post an update when i get any further on with this
Cheers Terry

Be careful with some of those as the wall thickness might stop them fro fitting inside bolt hole on the wheel.

They are definitely McGard lockers. Doesn't matter what car they were intended for, email them a few very clear pictures along with a copy of your V5 and driving licence and they will be able to cut a new key. Just remember to tell them what hex size you require.
I had 2 keys made up a few weeks ago for about £25 delivered. If you need them off quickly then they can send them out express or alternatively you will need to get them removed.
