Good day to all.
unfortunately a drunk driver hit my car the other day and it pretty much destroyed it. My issue is that my insurance wants to pay me the cars value instead of fixing the car and the money they give me is pennies compare to the original value. I would like to press them for more, cause i think they want to pay me thinking the 206cc and the quicksilver edition is the same...
Is there an official source or something telling that the quicksilver is a limited edition model and its not the same as 206cc or any similar model (Ex Roland Carros)?

Thank you all in advance!

Perhaps you could email Peugeot and get them to confirm the information on this page: www.carpages.co.uk/peu..._04_04.asp

You could have a look at the value on Glasses Guide which is the industry standard on current car values. Unfortunately quite a few people think their car is worth a lot more than what it is listed for due to the time and effort that they have put into it

You can't compare prices from country to country. What might be a good price in the UK might be crap where you are. Economic climate and all that

If you were UK based and they offered you that for a 17 year old car, then I'd say bite their hand off, if they offered it for a 7 year old car then probably not as good a deal. But then there are the differences in engine to consider. A 2.0 D is probably worth more than a 1.4 8v from the same year.
