I have a 2005 206 1.1 which doesn't get used much. I started it up yesterday for the 1st time in a few weeks (starts 1st turn of key). I left it idling for a while to defog windows and the multifunction display screen was working perfectly but when I came back to car the MFD was all garbled and missing some of the characters. Gave it a tap and ign off-on a few times but still a scrambled screen. Was going to have a look at it today but it's working perfect again. Just wondered if the intermittent working / not working is a sign that it's about to go and I need to look out for another one?

That happen because it's not used much, and because of cold weather,if it's a daily use, then it will be good.

You might find one or more of the connection pins have come loose where the two circuit boards join. It isn't hard to open up and remove the boards and a quick dab of solder fixed ours ... did it about two years ago and still working fine.
