This may seem like a stupid question, but… my daughter’s 206 needs new front wipers. I measured them, and they’re a little over 21” – easily available on eBay. But all the suppliers there seem to say that this model (52 plate XSI) has some sort of asymmetric setup, with the blades 2 different lengths (19” and 26”).

I’ve already got it wrong getting new tyres for it, as it turned out it had the wrong size fitted, so I’d like to ask what size blades it should have! Are the ones on it now wrong???

Thanks

On this 206 it will be a pair of 22" normal wiper blades.

If you go for retrofit aero twin blades then go down to a pair of 21" blades.

Earlier 206 have different length wiper arms fitted & thats why they use odd sizes of wiper blades Wink

Cheers, much appreciated. But all the "aero" ones advertised are 22", not 21"... will they be OK?

What does "aero" mean anyway Confused

I mean, I always buy them for my own car, but never really thought about what it means!

For a 206 its best to drop down an inch & fit 21" blades if your going down the retrofit aero blade route.

22" retro fit aero blades are likely to catch on the edge of the screen.

I can confirm you will need AR21U Bosch Wiperblades if you want to retrofit aero wiper blades

Right... that's what I was beginning to suspect. For years, I've fitted eBay £5 jobs to my own cars, and very happy with them - but they seem to be available only in 22", so it's £25 for Bosch ones then Shocked
