2003 206 1.4 Automatic. Always started first time, Came out one day and the Car would not start, Called out RAC, Need new Battery, Was at home so didn't buy their £80 one, Bought one from Ebay made for my car. Delivered next day £30. Fitted that Now it has problems starting. It almost feels like fuel starvation I have to pump the accelorator loads of times and keep trying to start it, I do not think it is the fuel pump because as soon as I get it started I can turn it off and it then starts first time again, No roblems when it is running.
Any ideas

maybe the battery you fitted is a low quality one which don't provide the voltage needed for the ECU to work 100%.also check the ground cable,as it might be loose.

I think this is a drain on the battery, not a problem with the battery it's self.

i had a similar issue which turned out to be a wire left disconnected from my daytime running lights and touching the car bodywork.
