Hello, I have a Peugeot 206 2.0 HDI (2001) and yesterday my Brake warning light came on, on my dashboard. I have changed the sensor under the handbrake and also checked the Brake Fluid levels and they seem fine. I have had my disks and pads swapped about 2 weeks ago.
Has anybody else had this issue or have any advice to what it may be?
If it helps. When I release the handbrake and press the brake the light dims as though theirs something else keeping the light on.
Thank you in advance,
Ash

Sounds like an earth fault.
Might be worth checking all the brake light bulbs are working correctly first.

I have checked the brake lights earlier and they all come on and go off. I can check the wiring for them tomorrow but they seem ok.
Is there any point in particular to check for the earth fault or could it be anywhere on the wiring? :/
