Car wont start after stereo install pls help

hi everyone, im hoping someone will be able to help me, my car has been running fine no issues at all, i got a new stereo (aftermarket) i didn't have the correct wires so i did a bodge job and use the old stereo connector i copied the wire colours so i thought, anyway ive just been outside ive started the car its started ok, iv plugged the stereo in and it turned on had sound everything, then turned the car off , then when trying to restart the car there's nothing, my engine warning light shows and the ( ! ) sign , so i unplugged the stereo and still wont start can anyone help me pls

Blown fuse in the cabin fuse box.

One of the fuses that protects the radio also protects the immobiliser.

Very common issue when people fit aftermarket radios & don't use a Peugeot ISO plug & play adaptor harness ( which is cheap from any Peugeot main dealer parts department )

the fuse i found broke is a red 10 a fuse its apparently for the Coolant level – Audio system , would this stop the car from starting?

yes was fuse number 6 (red 10 amp) audio and coolant fuse. and now i have an after market stereo i need help fitting, as you cant buy a lead for it

Peugeot main dealer parts department should be able to get you a plug & play adaptor harness.

I'd try a Citroen dealer instead then. It's not a part that's unique to the 206 so I'm very surprised the Peugeot dealer didn't want to supply one, unless you asked for the wrong item.

mate i have an unbranded aftermarket Chinese radio player , Peugeot don't make leads for them and im sure Citroen wont either, il try asking for help on another forum.
