Hi all,
Anyone ever had this? I'm not sure the car mists up more than it used it to in the cold, wet or winter, but I've noticed recently, especially when wet and cold, that I have large water droplets where the VIN plate is shown on the windscreen. Have I got a water leak in my windscreen seal somewhere or top of the bulkhead or something?
I've taken a picture of it, but I'm not sure how to get it displayed here, as I don't have a photo bucket or any such thing.
Is it normal to have droplets form, or should it be sealed down there? I can't recall seeing it before, but I just may not have taken it in, even having had the car over 7years!
Just to confirm, I can run the engine warm the car and it be mist free, but the water droplets are still present where the VIN plate should show.
Thanks very much.

Could be the sealant is breaking down or cracked and letting moisture through but that will probably mean a new screen as the sealant is a strong glue ..

Oh and I don't think you can add attachments like pictures directly. They have to be
"hosted" somewhere like photobucket and a link inserted in the post ..
photobucket is free though ..

I just used postimage.org for some pics for PMs - free, no signup, images can be resized if you want, set to expire in 1 day/week/month or never
Quite simple to use too.

Many thanks gazza82. I think! :-/ I don't want to replace the windscreen if I don't need to of course, if that's the problem, I'll certainly keep an eye on it and I appreciate your reply.

Thanks for the suggestions for the pic adding too, I've had a go with one option and may have to try another, so when I hit submit we'll see if it works.

Poked around a bit (copy-pasting the URL in your post does let one see the pic, but looks like dropbox is rather unwilling to give out the 'clean' URL to the image, instead insisting in wrapping it in their webpage or other cruft - which the site doesn't like as it's expecting a 'real' image...

I think the problem is that it doesn't lead to a 'pure' image, but a webpage displaying the image along with other stuff like image controls, login etc.
Here's an image stored om postimage.org, using the direct link, ie image only, using https: s30.postimg.org/mjynow...1604_1.jpg
and here it is using the link going to a page similar to dropbox's, also https: postimg.org/image/nz08dmizh/
