I've got a 206 SW '03. The main boot lock has stopped responding to central locking with either the key or fob. The glass still opens and closes fine.
I've seen this problem a few time on this forum but mine has a twist.
Occasionally when the car is unlocked and then I open ether the driver or front passenger door the boot will unlock of its own accord.
I'm trying to decide whether to spend £30 on a new microswitch or spend extra and take it to an electrics specialist.
I'm flat broke at the moment though so didn't want to end up spending money on both before asking for advice.
Is this something I can tackle myself?

Check that the connection to the switch isn't loose .. remove the panel in the tail gate and give it a push/pull. That shouldn't be too difficult. Had the same on a CC where the plug came loose and that is a pain to open with no electrics .. luckily it was intermittent!!
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
