Hallo everybody, did someone find a way to fix this problem?
It seems a popular issue...

Not heard of an engine cover rattle. Do you mean the manifold heat shield?

Nope, that's another issue (that I have); the 6 "arrows" that keep it in place became longer because of the heat and make the cover rattle.

Very Happy ah okay. I had a couple of those engine cover pegs rattle loose and jump out, falling down the back of the engine! I bought a replacement set on fleabay for about £15 a while back.

could you use some foam that is suitable for the heat to pack out the space, and just remount the cover on top?

Yes, that works, but I was looking for something that last longer; when I remove the cover, foam usually gets off...
