Hi there the car I am enquiring about is a 2003 1.4Hdi Stlye 206 which I have just taken for an MOT and it failed.

01 Both anti roll bar ball joints excessive play--these I have ordered and watched a video on youtube seems simple enough.

02 Excessive play drivers suspension arm--have ordered both might as well change the other one, watched a you tube video and seems simple enough just getting it back into the disc might be a problem.

03 Two tyres---simple enough

04 Headlight beam too low nearside. beam image incorrect offside??--use switch inside to adjust beam height.

05 Brake valve leaking rear--I have looked in the forum and this must be the rear valve that adjusts the brakes on the rear, no youtube found so any help from someone who has replaced one of these much appreciatted, I believe there are two versions of this.

I dont own a Haynes manual, as these seemed to be written for the perfect world and anyone owning a hydraulic car ramp, not someone crawling about on the floor, with the car on axle stands. I would sooner ask for advice in a forum because people always find easier ways to do a job.(rant over)

06 And finally rear lamps adversely affected by the operation of another lamp--In a nutshell what he means is turn on the right indicator with no rear lights or brake lights on an its fine blinking away no problem. Put your foot on the break triggering the brake light and the indicator starts to flash faster, but switch on the lights and use the right indicator or left and all the rear lights start flashing like the scene from Close Encounters.
This I am stumped as no ideas where to start, so any help greatly appreciatted as electrics has never been my strong point.

04: Not sure about the UK MOT, but in the Swedish equivalent, beam height must be correct (assuming the car isn't heavily loaded) with the internal adjustment wheel in the 0 position.
There should be a small white hex socket on the height adjustment motor that can adjust the default position. Id that adjustment isn't enough then check the mounting of the assembly - has the car had a front corner hit that might have shifted the mounting point[s]?
Incorrect beam image is IME usually caused either by a not fully/flat seated bulb or cheap low quality/low precision bulbs that doesn't place the filament in the proper position. Try just removing the locking clip, pull the bulb out slightly and carefully re-seat it, being careful to keep it pressed in and flat while fastening the clip. If that doesn't do it, try a new bulb of known good brand.

06: By the description I'd look at the grounding wire and possibly corrosion inside the assembly and/or connectors.
