Good afternoon,

Hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. I have a 206 gti 55 plate, serviced and MOT at start of the year. Started it up at lunch time today, was judderring and shaking, felt like it was going to stall, then Catalytic Converter Warning sigh came up on dash along with yellow engine warning light.

Power seemed to go from the engine and it eventually cut out. Has been sat outside in this freezing weather, but was driven the other day on a 50 mile return journey with no issues.

Any ideas or recommendations what might this be?

Thanks all

Could be lambda sensors on the exhaust? I would hook up a Diagnostic Fault Scanner to see what error codes it throws out?

Hi,
More likely spark related. Loose connection to coil pack or coil pack/plug failing.

Cheers,
Iain.
