Ok, so I goofed... went and bought a newer, better condition steering wheel for my gti without checking, so my current wheel is pre-Plex and has 2 screws holding airbag on, new wheel has clip on type airbag... can I still fit this if I get a clip on airbag or are the connecters different as well ? Really don't want to splurge more cash if it ain't gonna work.

Location: What's it to you? ? ?

Wont work, you cannot fit a multiplexed clip on airbag to a non plexed 206.

For a start a multiplexed 206 drivers airbag has 2 electrical connectors as it has 2 explosive charges built in being a dual stage airbag.

Get the correct steering wheel for your car & reuse your original airbag.
